As a licensed clinical professional counselor, I have experience utilizing mindfulness, inner child work, symbolism, and relational therapies. As a creative arts therapist, I have specialized training in using creative approaches – especially music, nature, play, and art. In our work together, we can create a path that incorporates whatever modes of therapy that can be helpful to you; this is your journey.
I often tell my clients that therapy is similar to talking a walk. A walk where you and I talk along the way, discuss what’s going on for you, and explore new places. In those new places, it’s my job to shine a light in the darkness and provide you with a safe space where you can feel empowered.
The therapeutic relationship is incredibly important to therapy and our ability to connect with each other directly impacts your progress. I value open, honest, and authentic communication within the therapy space in a way that is supportive to your growth.
