As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, and Board-Certified Music Therapist, I offer a wide range of creative and expressive therapies. My goal as a therapist is to create a place for you or your child to explore and express through unique and individualized ways. As a therapist, it is my duty to walk alongside a client, support their unique strengths, and shine a light in the darkness.
Music therapy services are focused on supporting children who are neurodiverse, have special needs, and/or have a developmental difference. We tend to focus on goals that support communication, engagement, cognitive skills, academic skills, physical motor skills, as well as emotional goals. In music therapy we can utilize music to engage in songwriting, instrument playing, lyric analysis, musical games, and more.
Counseling services are for children who are experiencing a life-limiting illness, medical diagnosis, difficult social situation, bullying, or difficulty with change. We focus on improving quality of life, emotional expression, social emotional skills, processing of trauma, improvement of self-esteem, reduction of anxiety, and more. In counseling we are less limited than in music therapy sessions and can incorporate a variety of creative modalities that can support your child.
My telehealth services are flexible and focused on supporting you in your busy schedule. If you are not sure which session are right for you, reach out at anytime for a free 30 minute consultation!
