“It is a great space for peer support from other creative arts therapists, especially for the private practice and independent contractors like myself who do not have a lot of opportunities for that.”

Frequently Asked Questions

How does this work?

Once you become a member, you will immediately gain access to your dashboard. From here you will have access to the resource archive that is continually growing with new intervention ideas, slideshows, visuals, informational downloads, implementation videos, and more. You will also immediately gain access to the Facebook group for peer support and community connection!

You’ll be sent emails when new resources are added throughout the year. Your membership lasts for one year from purchase date and you get locked in at that price if you decide to stay for more than one year. The cost of the membership does increase with time due to the increase in resources.

Why do I need to know this information to be a great clinician/educator?

As trusted adults in a child’s life, it is imperative that we are aware of child development and feel prepared with verbal processing skills. EVERY child has mental health and we can all support positive well-being through developing our understanding of trauma-informed care, child mental health, and development. We can then expand our ability to use child counseling skills for every child and support their creative resiliency.

What is the cost?

The cost for the Umbrella Membership is $149, paid once per year. You can add on a supervision package if you are looking for additional support as well! If you join now, you will get locked in at that yearly price for the whole time that you would like to be a member. The price will most likely increase each year for new members who join due to the increasing amount of resources within the library.

What are in the e-mails?

When new resources are created, you’ll be sent a curated email that includes informational downloads, intervention ideas, visuals and/or an implementation videos. All of the materials sent out in the emails will be uploaded and organized into the dashboard as well so you can always access them with ease.

Can I join for just one month?

Unfortunately, no. At this time the membership is an annual commitment with the option to pay monthly or annually.

Is this just for music therapists?

No! Clinicians, educators, caregivers, and parents can find this space incredibly useful to develop their knowledge of children as well.

Are there special rates for students or groups?

What happened to the live calls and CMTE credits?

Since Kate is having her first child, she decided to put the group calls and CMTE credits on hold for the time being. She wants to be sure to create the space she needs for growth as a mama and doesn’t feel that she will be able to bring the consistency necessary for the community calls. Be on the lookout in the future for the Umbrella Community re-launch!
