Kirsten Goffena is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Colorado, a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified EMDR Therapist. She returned to graduate school when her own children were teenagers and graduated with masters degrees in clinical and school counseling from the University of Northern Colorado in 2012. Her counseling experience includes individual and group work with adults, children, and families in a mental health agency, elementary and middle school counseling, in-home family therapy for families with children at risk for out-of-home placement, and private practice including intensives (4-8 hour healing sessions) and momma retreats.
