In this episode, Chris talks with us about his journey to becoming a music therapist and his eventual move towards getting an License as a Professional Counselor in Colorado. Chris discusses his past and current work within residential facilities for children and his new niche within spiritually-supported counseling. Take a listen and enjoy!

Chris Wojdak is licensed as a Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado, as well as a Board Certified Music Therapist. He studied at Nazareth College of Rochester in New York State where he received his Masters in Creative Arts Therapy/Music Therapy, as well as University of Colorado Denver. His primary specialties are children and adolescents with mental illness, experiences of trauma, abuse and neglect, developmental disabilities, and chronic/life limiting illness. Chris has presented on trauma-informed music therapy, the historical music therapy research, and on the use of assessment measures in music therapy practice. He has worked in public schools, residential treatment, and private agencies in both Colorado and New York.
